Armed and Ready is a documentary that I created as part of my dissertation this year. I remember first hearing about the war in Yemen and how distraught I was to find out that the UK sells weapons to Saudi Arabia, while knowing that they are killing civilians in Yemen.

 

I wanted to find a way of telling more people about the war in Yemen as it is commonly called the 'forgotten war'. I enjoyed talking to a range of experts as well as people from Yemen to understand the war and the UK's involvement with it. Armed and Ready gives a simplified idea of the war in Yemen for all to understand.
